There is one thing to be said about where I grew up and that is its unmistakably beautiful at times. I knew Pine Mountain was going to be foggy on this day and I reached out to Dayjha to see if her and Ryan would like to run around and do a quick shoot. We met after they got out of class and boy was it foggy. Even when I was in high school I don't think I have ever experienced Pine Mountain when it was THIS foggy. I always just admired it from below. Honestly, I have never been up the mountain as much as I have been in the last few years since I started doing sessions on it.
We went to Mars and enjoyed how the fog rolled through the red rocks and how it REALLY looked like we were on another planet. We meandered through the trail out there and found new nooks and cranny's as well that were perfect for some backdrops. Everything about this shoot felt ethereal and timeless and it was exactly what I needed after a summer of empty schedules due to the pandemic.
I also want to take the opportunity to thank everyone for all of the support with the business name change. This has been something on my mind for awhile and I am so happy that so many of you have resonated with the new name. I personally think it fits my work so much better and it's going to allow me to grow outside of who I am and into it's on entity. I'm excited to share this new journey with all of you! Don't forget to join the new facebook group so that we can connect on a deeper level as well! You can do that here.
