Joshua Tree National Park Elopement

Thanks to covid my travel schedule was less of the in and out variety I normally do, and more of the long haul stays to keep myself and the community I was in safe. Back in October was one of those long haul stays where I drove BACK to California for the entire month. I am very fortunate that all of my October work took place in the same area and that I was able to huddle down and not go from community to community while there. I am also very fortunate that the weddings/sessions I did have were very much worth the over 5,000 miles I put on my car. My clients (now friends) are simply amazing and I literally can't stop gushing over all of them from 2020.

I'm thankful for the work I did have in 2020 which is an understatement. I am also beyond thankful that my clients took the precautions that they did to keep people safe, and to ensure my safety. Granted, Maddie and Gal had always planned to elope in Joshua Tree National Park, they still took precautions throughout their day including wearing their masks during the ceremony and most of prep.

I am also incredibly thankful that Maddie and Gal trusted me so much throughout their day. They never questioned or balked at an idea. Never got worried about being dirty when I asked them to run around and kick up the dirt. They were amazing and it 100% shows the trust they had in me through their photos. This is why I love this job so much. Being creative. Meeting amazing people that I mesh well with. Making beautiful art that will last for decades. All of that. Every bit of it makes me so happy.
