This Old Hollywood Wedding Session was two and a half years in the making. We originally scheduled the session for early 2020. The week it was supposed to go down – covid lockdowns started in Los Angeles. We ended up rescheduling for later in the year when I’d be back in southern California for weddings, but had to cancel again due to an accident. In August of 2022 we finally got to meet up to do their wedding session at this charming little villa tucked away in Silver Lake.

We met up at a rented house (their peerspace is: here) and it was everything I could want out of a location. It had interesting rooms and beautiful colors through out the home that was the perfect palette for this session. It’s definitely a home I would rent again for a session. I feel like I could do so much more with the space given the opportunity. Celebrities like Pedro Pascal, Natalie Portman, Orlando Bloom, and Shay Mitchell have all been photographed there – and that’s pretty cool.

After we finished up with photos Audrey, Ian, Olivia, and I headed towards downtown to hang out and have some of the best pasta I’ve ever had at a restaurant called Uovo. They fly in their pasta fresh everyday from Bologna. Which is a feat all by itself outside of it being so yummy. It was one of the best endings to a session I’ve ever had, and the following day Olivia and I photographed a lovely little wedding at the LA River Center and Gardens.
